The Global Funk Fam was proud to be the official Community Partner of SuckaFest, the boutique not-for-profit mini-fest just outside of London in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Held on the 2nd and 3rd of August 2024, SuckaFest was all about Good People, Good Music, and Good Times.
Once again, the festival supported the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), with all profits going directly to this vital cause.
SuckaFest delivered a phenomenal lineup this year, bringing back some familiar faces from the previous year while adding absolute dancefloor killers like The Nextmen, Madame Electrifie, Jim Sharp, and Mojaxx. No less than eight GFF artists graced the stage—what a lineup!
What Was SuckaFest All About?
SuckaFest was a small, intimate festival—dare we say, exclusive—with a capacity of only 200 people. Despite its size, it had all the essentials of a great festival. A main stage/stretch tent hosted a stellar lineup of DJs, the bar kept everyone refreshed with draft beers and spirits, and the caterer served up the best in street food.
On top of that, the Always Balling Club brought their streetwear to the event, adding a unique flair to the festivities—all with smiles to match. Best of all, SuckaFest had everything you could want without the long queues! What’s not to love?
