Shake da Booty DJ

The lemur you need to make your party go hard!

For more than 10 years, Shake da Booty DJ has smashed dancefloors wherever he goes, thanks to his precise, powerful, and scalable DJ sets. As a junglist at heart, he proved himself in the drum and bass genre in the city of Limoges (FR), where he currently resides. Armed with his vinyl record collection and turntables, he makes the public of the Limousin capital and surrounding regions sweat with sharp selections and quick transitions.

Now using digital tools, he diversifies by adding new musical genres to his DJ sets, such as hip hop, reggae, glitch hop, funk, and breakbeat. In short, he delivers only rhythm-filled and danceable music for the pure pleasure of his audience.

Initially known as Shake dB or Seuh KrY, it’s only recently that he has embraced the full bootiness of his work. Under these names, he has shared stages with a few artists such as Miss Ficel, MC Jamalski, Elisa do Brasil, C2C, Les Hurlements d’Léo, Biga Ranx, Le Lutin, and Manu Digital.

In 2016, he joined the association Snake’s House and participated in setting up DnB concerts called ‘Bass Collapse’ parties. This adventure allowed him to DJ with artists like Silent Frequencies, Nickbee, Cecil Hotel (Le Lutin & Opsen), Kantyze, Skillz, and Culture Dub.

In 2020, with the pandemic and lockdown, he turned to the internet and a platform called Twitch to continue practicing his passion. It was there he met and joined the Global Funk Fam, an online community born around music, streaming, and party vibes. Thanks to this, he has expanded his audience and gained recognition outside of France, receiving support from artists all around the world such as Crash Party, B-Side, and Captain Flatcap in the UK, DJ Clairvo (Lack Jemmon / Must Beat Recordings) in Hungary, Hexadecimal DJ in New Zealand, Etown Junglist in Canada, and DJ Maculate in the USA.
