Chace Minton, better known as Chace’n Beats, found his path to DJing by following the part of music that still felt fun. He originally set out to learn production, but the learning curve was getting in the way of the joy. Instead, he turned to the decks: spinning the records he loved and sharing that energy with anyone ready to move.

Nearly two decades later, that instinct still drives his sets. Based in Hutto in the Austin area, Chace’n Beats is an open-format DJ with an emphasis on funk, soul, breaks, drum and bass, bass music, and—in his own words—“all things that slap.” His style is less about staying inside a single genre than building a room-wide connection, moving confidently between sounds while keeping the momentum intact.

Chace’n Beats is a member of the UK-based Global Funk Fam and has performed at Shindig Festival at Charlton Park in Wiltshire. His stateside credits include Security Con at The Senator in Chico, California, Party Animals Festival, three corporate events, numerous underground and renegade sets, and promotion with Nasty Rumors. He is also a Twitch affiliate, bringing the same energetic, genre-fluid approach to listeners beyond the room.
