Set sail on a cosmic musical voyage with Captain Flatcap, who fuses a broad spectrum of vintage music with modern-day bass-heavy dance music. Beautifully accompanied by live flute playing from the Captain himself, his performances are an explosion of good vibes and energy that get any crowd ready to party!
The Captain was classically trained from an early age and grew up as part of ska, punk, swing, folk, and classical bands. However, when he found his love for electronic music, Captain Flatcap was born. Given his musical past, he was inspired to use a variety of live instruments in his production and live performances.
Captain Flatcap has supported and played with The Freestylers, A.Skillz, Krafty Kuts, The Correspondents, Chris Tofu, WBBL, Father Funk, and has collaborations with Dutty Moonshine, Too Many T’s, Tuxedo Junction, Extra Medium, Mista Trick & Don Johnston.
Richie Hawtin – “I like it! It’s kinda… cheeky!”
